“I love to empower my clients,” Michael Carson told Donna
Wehe (Small Business Development Center Director) as he was showing her around
his new office location. Carson
Technical Services, LLC, owned by Michael Carson, outgrew his home office
space. He and his wife Suzette, have recently opened their retail location at
1425 Main Street, Valley Plaza, Alamosa.
Michael isn’t new to the area. He
is a Valley native, born and raised in San Luis. His wife Suzette is a recent graduate from
Trinidad State Jr. College Valley Campus, with a degree in Computer Network
Technology. Suzette is still attending classes for Massage Therapy and is an
apprentice at Mystic Orient and certified to do Acupressure and Reflexology.
Carson Technical Services offers many computer solutions such as installing and maintaining networks, data recovery, PC repair, fixing laptop screens, etc. Their website is www.carsontechs.com which goes into more detail about all of their services and products.
Michael received his training and knowledge while working at
Valley Wide Health Systems for nine years in the IT department. Michael has been assisted with the free and
confidential business consulting offered by the SBDC and is looking forward to
more business classes and networking opportunities. The SBDC can be reached at 719-589-3682.
The décor in his office is unique. He has a strong cultural tie to his hometown
of San Luis and has some of the historic church pews from Sangre De Cristo
Parish that he uses in his waiting area (see photo). He debated about bringing in the kneelers,
because people with computer problems are sometimes looking for miracle fixes! Michael loves a challenge, and whether the
client needs a one-time fix or an ongoing supportive service, he and
Suzette are able to meet this wide variety of needs. The phone number for the business is
719-937-2247. Office hours are Monday
thru Friday 8:30-5:30, Saturday 9:00-12:30, closed for lunch 12:30-1:30.
